During a recent boycott, I watched people intentionally seek out and support Black-owned businesses. I was inspired by the way communities came together to share, repost, and support one another.

Many business owners gained the visibility they needed to purchase more inventory, increase bookings, and continue growing their businesses. That moment made something clear.

The businesses are here. The talent is here. The professionals are here.

What we’re often missing is the connection.

AOWR was created to help bridge that gap.

Rooted in community. Connected across the diaspora. Every dollar spent is a decision. Every connection made is an opportunity. Every business supported is an investment in our future.
